The flue gas measurement at engines has a few pretty specific requirements. Unlike by combustion plants, the NOx value cannot be satisfactorily determined using the NO value calculation method and the gas temperatures are comparatively high. Additionally the measurement values and the units are to be displayed differently and the sampling system should be equipped with a special fixation cone and a heat protection shield.
