The efficiency degree of a heating plant is determined by the gas losses; the maximal efficiency degree (e.g. 100%) reduced of the gas losses (e. g. 4.3%) results in the real efficiency degree (e. g. 95.7 %). The efficiency degree describes the part of primary energy which is transformed into heating energy. Basically: the more efficient a combustion process is, the higher the efficiency degree.
